Know what the essential needs of plants and animals are.

Understand a food chain and be able to create one.

Les changements causés par les humains: what can animals do if they can't find what they need to survive?

Understand what is "un organisme vivant et un organisme non-vivant"

Understand what is "une espèce éteinte" and "une espèces menacée d'extinction" and give examples of these.

Know what kind of negative effects humans can have on living things and what kinds of things someone can do to have a positive effects on those living things.

Examples of types of questions:

• Write down the right pronoum with the correct way of writing the conjugated verb
• I will say sentences out loud and they will write them down correctly (are expected to have elements of a sentence which they have learned)
• They will have provinces and territories written in English and they will need to write them correctly in French.
