The students watched me model my paragraph for Shades of Summer. I wrote about my trip to New York City which cullminated in a visit to the 9/11 Memorial. I tried to explain it to them but I think photos are easier to understand. The saying 'a picture is worth a thousand words' is certainly true in this case.
