Reminder: Picture Order forms are due October 24! If a retake is needed, please let me know. I am not sure when the retake photos will take place but I will keep you posted.

Class Update: We have started Patterning and Algebra in Math. We are currently working on "Equations Involving Addition" and will move onto subtraction next week. If you wish to have your child do extra work (for practice at home when they do not have homework) you can create some questions for them and I will be posting extra worksheets as the unit progresses.
     This week we have also started Descriptive Writing. The class is currently working on writing a story (using a story starter that I provided) for Halloween. Once the good copy of the story is complete, students will be creating and designing a cover for their story which will be displayed in the hallway outside our classroom.

Class Name and Logo (for the school's ECO Challenges): This is being done on a voluntary basis. If students wish, they can create a class name and logo for the ECO Challenge. Myself and Mme Mathieu will choose a winning name and logo to represent the class. These are due to me by Tuesday, October 23. (Please note that students are NOT required to do this activity; it is simply if they wish to participate.)
