Although the results for the November ECO Challenge have not yet been released, I know that we did very well! For December and January, we have been given the challenge to earn extra tokens if we have our garbage can upside down. We have decided to take it the next step and get rid of our garbage can all together! Some of the students were a little worried about this when we discussed it yesterday but I reassured them that I would let parents know and that this is going to help us be an even "greener" class.
There will be a Math Test on Thursday, December 13. This test will be for our Data Management unit which includes graphing and surveying.
December Scholastic orders are going home today. If you wish to order anything, they are due back Tuesday, December 11. If you wish to order anything for Christmas, feel free to drop it off at the office with a note and I can let you now when it arrives.
Advent Project
Friday will be our first activity to help raise money for our Advent Project. By bringing in $2.00 on Friday, students can wear pajamas and a Santa hat.
As well, raffle tickets will be sold for a chance to win a Christmas stocking filled with prizes. Tickets are $1.00 each and the draw will take place on Friday, December 21.
Please check out the class Calendar! I will be updating it daily with our good deeds.
