Today we discussed the importance of knowing how to calculate elapsed time. The class came up with some great ideas like catching a flight on time (otherwise you would have to pay more money), arriving at a birthday party on time (having to figure out how long it will take you to get there), figuring out how long a hockey game will be, etc.

I have posted Time Worksheets in the Extra Math Activities section of the website. *I have not been able to find interesting Time Worksheets to post here. I know that several students and parents have asked me to post something about time so that is why I have posted the two links below. Like I said, they aren't the best but it would be useful if you find that your child is struggling with telling time or with elapsed time.
