In Language today, we discussed conjunctions. As a class, we wrote the following definition: "Conjunctions are words that connect sentences, words, or phrases." We watched the following Schoolhouse Rock video to help understand what conjunctions are and what they do.

In Math, we looked at a complex word problem that the class will be working on solving tomorrow. This is a multi-step problem that will include conversion, calculating area and perimeter, and calculating the total cost. There will be a question like this on the test on Thursday so I have reminded the class that they need to make sure they read the questions!
