Reminder: Return signed CASI and Reading Response!

As I mention to the class last week, and posted on the blog last Friday, a student's reading mark on the report card will not be based solely on their CASI. It will also take into consideration their most recent work and how they have improved.

I have talked to several parents, and students, today that have asked if there is a way to do extra practice for a CASI. I will be posting some suggestions either later today or at some point tomorrow. The biggest thing is to have your child read a story (even just a short story) and then answer a few questions. For example, summarize the story, what was the main idea, etc.
